Title: Senior Information Security Engineer / Lead Information Security Engineer (DLP - Data Loss Prevention)
Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid Role
Duration: 12+ Months (W2, No C2C)
Job Descriptions:
• Client is seeking a Sr. Information Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Data Loss Prevention (EDLP) team to assess, design and implement solutions and oversight capabilities for data protection/data loss prevention
• The ideal candidate will bring broad set security experiences including successful DLP techniques (and knowledge across the layers of security defense (Endpoint, Proxy, Infrastructure) to define and implement solutions.
In this role, you will:
• Assess, design, implement and oversight data loss prevention techniques
• Lead or participate in technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
• Provide security consulting on for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
• Design, document, and oversight a minimum viable baseline of security requirements and controls
• Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including management levels.
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
o 3+ years in Data Loss Prevention/ Data Protection leadership or technical strategy roles
• Experience in creating and managing metrics
• Knowledge and understanding of data security risk and controls including configuration and vulnerability management, directory services content filtering, Internet proxies, and log management solutions such as Splunk
Desired Qualifications:
• Cloud Data Protection or Cloud DLP implementation experience
• Proxy, endpoint and or mobile
• Demonstrate the ability to provide written and verbal communications to management to address real-time issues and incidents,
• Advanced problem-solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems
• Experience in leading design and implementation of security techniques
