Role Overview: As a Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in protecting our client's assets, data, and infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard critical assets and information.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks and threats.
  • Design and deploy security controls and technologies to protect networks, systems, and applications.
  • Monitor security events and incidents, investigate and respond to security breaches and intrusions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the security of cloud-based environments and applications.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and security trends, providing proactive recommendations and solutions.
  • Participate in security audits, assessments, and compliance initiatives to maintain regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ year as a Security Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
